Day 5 -
Day 5 was a half road trip half city hopping day.
We headed towards Seljalandsfoss Waterfall first, the weather wasn't so great (as usual) but if you guys ever head over to Iceland during the Summer, please head towards this waterfall! There will be countless rainbows over there *inserts heart eye emoji* and omg it's just so beautiful [as witness in the Shahrukh Khan's music video in his latest movie]
We hiked up towards the back of the waterfall, it was a short hike but it was definitely steep and dangerous but.. we made it!!
We managed to stop by to look at the Icelandic horses aka cutie pies! They were so tamed and adorable!
The Laundromat Cafe in Reykjavik is really famous and their chocolate cake was just so scrumptious!!
It's a pretty hip and large cafe so don't worry about seats, also I spent most of my time there since I was exhausted while the rest took turns to go out to get some souvenirs for their friends and family. I only went out when everyone got back so that I could have some me time to myself! :P
We headed towards the Grillmarkadurin Restaurant (where their dishes are all grilled) and oh my goodness - it is theeeeee best and I really mean the best restaurant that I've ever eaten it.
I ordered the three fishes (Salmon, Cod and Wolf) and potato and grilled vegetables.
I do apologize for the bad photography though. But anyway!! It was brilliant and everyone needs to go there atleast once when they're in Iceland. The service was great as well, so I had a really good dinner, heh.
11/10!
Day 6 -
It was our last day in Iceland :( and as much as I don't want to, I have to leave for the land of rain and gloom aka the UK.
Visited the Hallgrimskirkja church early in the morning before we headed off to the airport.
This is the Sun Voyager in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Can I please stress how beautiful it is?!? It looks so picturesque and I can't believe my eyes when I was over there, myself!

If you guys would like to see more of what we did during the Iceland trip, feel free to watch my youtube video!
Day 3 -
Day 3 was more of a relaxing day for the five of us because it's...
BLUE LAGOON DAY!
The most of us have been looking towards this one since Blue Lagoon is really really famous in Iceland and elsewhere.
The reason why it's so popular is because it's a Geothermal spa and the service there is excellent! I really recommend it to everyone who's planning to go to Iceland because I definitely felt so relaxed there and I got to wash away all of my worries. What's even better is that the water and the heat there improved my skin conditions!
They have several packages but my friends and I signed up for the Premium package [which was previously 65 Euros but I've recently checked the website and they have increased the price by another 5 Euros!!]
We also had a free flow of wine, but because I don't drink any form of alcohol, the waitress offered soft drinks to me instead which was really nice!!
Overall, Blue Lagoon is fantastic and please do head there if you ever visit Iceland!!
Later at night we went for northern lights hunting but due to the weather conditions we didn't get to see any :( just our luck i guess.
Day 4 -
As per usual today's road trip day again! We decided to head over to Pengvillir and also the Geyser!
We wanted to go even further but the weather prohibited us to, since there was a snow storm.
For more details;
Due to the fact that the water was so warm, it made me really thirsty and hungry so by the time I got out I headed towards the food bar and bought a pack of sushi (which is absolutely delicious!!) oh and a banana smoothie!
We decided to have our dinner early and since we've booked a table so it was really easy for us to just go in and have a seat to rest and enjoy.
Blue Lagoon definitely did live up to its standards in terms of service and the food as well. Because I loved their three course meal!
Langoustine with white chocolate soup
Cod fish (What Celeste and I ordered)
Lamb shank
Caramel Mousse with Gingerbread and ice cream
We also had a free flow of wine, but because I don't drink any form of alcohol, the waitress offered soft drinks to me instead which was really nice!!
I swear we were all freezing because we left our coats in the car

Day 4 -
As per usual today's road trip day again! We decided to head over to Pengvillir and also the Geyser!
We wanted to go even further but the weather prohibited us to, since there was a snow storm.
We managed to build a snowman in the cold (my toes were freezing and I couldn't feel them at the time) But it was all worth it!! We even named the snowman LOL
I didn't get to take much shots of the Geyser because it was freezing cold but it was a good experience and a funny one at that (That will come later in Day 5 and Day 6's post)
Anyway! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment down below! :D

Iceland is an amazing country with a spectacular view! I felt really really lucky to be able to travel there during last winter break.
We took the 5am bus (which honestly made me carsick throughout the entire journey from Cardiff to London) and four hours later, walah! We've arrived in Iceland!
It took a while to get to our airbnb since we were all sorting out the car rental issues (details about this company will be given at the end of the post) and also trying to get from the airport to our accommodation.
It was worth it because the airbnb we were staying in had all the things that we needed.
Below the apartment was a bakery, pharmacy, food chain (which ranks quite highly on tripadvisor and it's cheap too!!), laundry (i mean.. we didn't use it but it's convenient). Opposite the apartment was a grocery store and a petrol station (just what we needed!!)
Got settled in and packed dinner from 'XO' the food chain below (picture as above) and the food lived up to my expectations, it was delicious and not too filling.
We got lots of rest that night to prepare ourselves for day 2's adventure!
Day 2 -
It was a rather long day for us during the second day, mainly because we were on a road trip!
Our first stop was the Gerduberg Cliffs. Unfortunatey it was covered by snow and it was super windy so we didn't get to go near it and my scarf was flying everywhere.
My favourite picture of all times.
TG was a kind soul for standing on the opposite side while he waited for us slow climbers (mind you, it was steep and slipper due to the ice and snow) but the view was worth it and I absolutely loved this place.
Found ourselves in a warm guest house after hours of being on the road (THANK GOD IT WAS OPENNNN!) Oh and also we got snowed in.
If there's one thing about Iceland that I could tell you is that there isn't much sun during the winter, so hence the blue tint in every picture that we capture, I've always thought it was some kind of filter that my friends use in their pictures but guess I was wrong.
We had our lunch in the car aka packed sandwiches (which TG helped us make early in the morning from the groceries we bought the night before) and also our own snacks that we bought aka fruits and chips etc.
Mashed Fish
Horse Meat .___.
The food was great as per usual and my friends ordered the horse meat while I had the pesto pasta (the first food picture).
The dinner was satisfactory but I was already tired by the end of the day and it was barely even 8pm!! I recalled it being around 6-7pm! That was how short daylight was!
But anyway, Day 3 and 4 will be up soon :) Hopefully this Friday and Day 5 and 6 will be on Sunday!

I love it when these kind of fairs come to Cardiff, there has been a few through out the first few months and there will be more coming up soon. You will have to watch out for their events on facebook because there are various types of vintage fair events that will just randomly pop up! Even I have difficulties catching up!
Top; New Look
Leather Jacket; Uniqlo
Jeans; Topshop
Boots; Dorothy Perkins
Bag; Primark
Sunglasses; The Vintage Fair
Necklace; The Vintage Fair
Managed to score myself a necklace and sunglasses for only £5 and £8! Not everything there is cheap since well it's vintage and you can't find it anywhere so easily. However, it is relatively cheaper than what you'd get at Urban Outfitters.
This would be my second last post about a 2015 event because I'm currently working on my Iceland post which is going to take awhile due to the editing and stuff.
But I really do hope you guys enjoy this post and if you ever have any questions regarding the vintage fair events in Cardiff or better yet if you know any vintage fair that's coming up, please feel free to drop a comment about it!
