Leeds Photodiary 2015

During April we were given a three weeks break for Easter and I decided to pay my friends in Leeds a short visit before I start cramming for my Discrimination Law assignment (interesting, really. It was about Age discrimination.)

Anyway, I bought a single train ticket and it took four hours and approximately twenty minutes to travel from Cardiff to Leeds.

I bunked in with Juliana (Juli) who welcomed me with open arms and once I arrived there. When I arrived at the train station, Juli and Derek (Juli's boyfriend and my friend as well) came to pick me up and brought me around the city.

We walked for abit before heading towards Leeds University. I am honestly, in love with that place. & I find it absolutely hilarious that every university HAS to have its own Costa Coffee, Blackwells and Subway nearby. Not that I am against it, if anything - I am grateful for those three.

First stop's the University's library and I am inlove with the library itself!

Loving this part of the university.

Hyde Park - Leeds version ;)

Met up with another old friend there, Tao Sheng who was sick but nevertheless came out to see me anyway.

My eyes are opened, I swear.

Met up with Pui Yi & Joshua who are studying in Leeds as well.

Home cooked dinner by the one and only Juli for Derek, Alfred and I.

My two adorable hosts.

(Please excuse our sleepy faces, they got up early in the morning just so they could send me off T.T)

They have made me feel super comfy and homey when I was at Leeds, even bringing me out in the middle of the night for a burger meal and watching the movie 'Lucy' together and having late night talks with the both of them.

It was a pleasant trip to Leeds and it's a little sad that the weather didn't do justice on my second day there but I came back with a satisfied feeling that I was able to see my old friends again.

My only regret was that I wasn't able to go to MeanWood or York. :( Really wanted to visit York so if any of you readers know if there's anything good in York or if you're from there/studying there, please do let me know!
